The Company
During the 20’s of the 20th century in Pionki, a small plant producing gunpowder and nitrocellulose was set, as a part of the Central Industrial Region. It was given a name „Pronit”.
In the 70’s, the „Pronit ” Chemical Plant launched a new site, starting the production of technical carboxymethyl cellulose under the trade name GLIKOCEL.
In the 90’s the site was privatized with a 100% State Treasury share and changed the name to „PRONICEL”, and the products changed their names to „POLLOCEL®” i „POLOFIX®”.
The CMC SA company is a continuator of tradition and production of carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt.
Our products are used as a protective thickener, thickener, emulsion and suspension stabilizer, binder, adhesive and filmforming agent.
Currently the CMC S.A. company executes promising development programme, the objective of which is implementing new technologies and launching new products.
