- POLOFIX®-HV is a low-viscosity variation of technical carboxymethyl cellulose salt, derived in wood cellulose etherification with monochloroacetic acid, used to lower filtration and stabilize the viscosity of all water-based scrubbers including seawater-based scrubbers and saturated brines.POLOFIX®– HV packaged in paper bags with multi-layer foil pads to protect against moisturizing.

POLOFIX®-HV used to lower filtration and increase viscosity of drilling fluids. Effective in freshwater-based scrubbers and different concentrations of NaCl and KCl – a wide range of pH. Remains stable to 140°C and is resistant to bacterial fermentation. POLOFIX®-HV added in the amounts of 10-30 kg/m³ of scrubber depending on it’s kind and the salinity level.
